Mr. William Robert McGlothlin, age 72, of Ellijay, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

Mr. McGlothlin was born on December 5, 1953, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late William Curtis McGlothlin and Dorothy Ann (Ziski) McGlothlin. He spent many years working in the HVAC industry and was proud to own and operate his own business.

William dearly loved his family and enjoyed traveling, spending time with dogs, and watching football—especially cheering on his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, he had a special way of bringing smiles to the faces of everyone he met.

Survivors include his daughter, Marilyn Fraley (Christopher); son, William R.C. McGlothlin (Miguel); step daughter, Betsy Back (Joan); grandchildren, Mallory Fraley, Jared Fraley, and Evan Fraley; sisters, Peg Harshaw and Chris Robinson; brother, Scott McGlothlin.
