William "Bill" Francis Hayman, age 89 of Ellijay, GA passed on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. Bill was born in Ft. Meade, FL on May 7, 1932, to his late parents Wallace Raymond and Vena (Smith) Hayman, Sr. Bill was a member of the Mountain Life Baptist Church. Bill was the owner of Hayman Safe Company and was an aircraft mechanic for Eastern Airlines. Bill also served honorably in the United States Navy. Bill was known for his voice as a singer in a gospel quartet. Bill is preceded in death by his brother Wallace Hayman, Jr, granddaughters Jennifer Mobley, and Amanda Fountain. Bill is survived by his wife of 67 years Carolyn Deloris Hayman, Ellijay, GA, daughter Patricia and Rev. Richard Fountain, Ellijay, GA, son Gary and Linda Hayman, Mount Dora, FL, grandchildren: Terry Mobley, Aaron (Sarah) Hayman, Michael (Tiffany) Hayman, great-grandchildren Angelica Mobley, Christopher Mobley, Mackenzie Hayman, Delaney Hayman, Conan Hayman, Fiona Hayman, Nolan Hayman, several nieces, also survive. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, February 26, 2022, at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 26, 2022, at the Logan Funeral Chapel with Rev. Richard Fountain, Rev. Bob Walker, Rev. Bob Shook, and the North GA Honor Guard officiating.
