William "Bill" Loren Bancroft age 77, of Ellijay, GA passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Bill was born November 20, 1945, in Fitchburg, MA to his late parents Dallas Loren and Mildred Evelyn (Eriksson) Bancroft. Bill was of the Lutheran faith and was a retired electrician at the Polk County School System in Florida. Bill also served honorably in the United States Air Force.

Bill is survived by his wife of 35 years Julie Virginia Bancroft, Ellijay, GA, and daughters and son-in-laws Linda Bancroft (Kirk Woodbury), North Fort Myers, Fl, Karen and Carl Russell, Tampa, Fl, sons and daughter in laws William and Korin Bancroft, Sanford, ME, Daniel and Kelli Harrell, Leicester, NC, grandchildren Cameron Bancroft, Nathan Bancroft, Alyssa Bowlin, Vale Selbert, Lauren Bancroft, Evelyn Bancroft, Cooper Bowlin, brothers Lawrence (Marcia) Bancroft, Cape Coral, FL, Brian Bancroft, Cape Cod, MA, Richard Bancroft, Slaton, TX, Patrick (Loretta) Bancroft, Zephyrhills, FL, and also several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, January 9, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with Military rights from the North GA Honor Guard. Interment will be at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 11:30 am.
