William "Mike" Michael Arnold, age 77 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023. Mike was born October 17, 1946, in Sioux City, Iowa to his late parents Bernard and Josephine Jeanette (Mauer) Arnold. Mike attended the First Methodist Church of Ellijay. Mike served his country honorably in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Mike retired from NCR as Director, Global Multivendor Programs. Mike was also a fisherman, and hunter, and very active in the Trout Unlimited Organization caring for and recovering rivers and streams. Mike is preceded in death by his brother David Joe Arnold.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years Connie Lynn (Mashburn) Arnold, Ellijay, GA, sons Michael Scott Arnold, Nashville, TN, and Andrew Burke Arnold, Chicago, IL, brother Larry L. and Marilyn Arnold, Kansas City, MO.

A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Brantley officiating. The family would like to thank the staff of Georgia Mountain Hospice for the care of William Mike Arnold and Heartlite Hospice for their support. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Georgia Mountain Hospice or Heartlite Hospice in memory of Mike.
