Mr. James Wendell Ash, age 57 of Ellijay, GA passed on Tuesday March 10, 2020. Born on February 22, 1963 to his parents, James Winfred Ash and Virginia O'dell Parks in Canton, GA. He was of the Baptist faith and was a Truck Driver for CSP Hauling LLC. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday March 14th, 2020 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Sanford, Rev. Glen Arnold and Rev. Pat Shelton officiating. Graveside interment will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery with Michael Vick, Neil Edmonds, Dustin Edmonds, Steven Moore, Mark Spear, Edward Teems, Jim Bob Smith, and Timothy Henderson serving as pallbearers. Wendell is survived by his life-long companion, Christie M. Sexton of Ellijay, GA, daughters, Adrianne Melina Ash, Kylie Macalin Ash, grandchild, Colson William Jones all of Talking Rock, GA, mother and step-father, Virginia O'dell & Mack Stacy of Ellijay, GA, sisters and brother-in-law, Yvonda Maria & Neil Edmonds of Talking Rock, GA, Anna Maria & Edgar Isles of Gastonia, NC, uncles and aunt, Benny & Patricia Parks of Ellijay, GA, Donald Parks of Ellijay, GA, and Carolyn Pankey of Ellijay, GA, several nieces and nephews also survive.
