Mr. Wayne Terry Knight, age 75, of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024. Terry was born November 27, 1948, in Trion, GA to his late parents Royce Cornelius and Jessie Lee (Parks) Knight. Terry was of the Baptist Faith. He was also a United States Marine Veteran, honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps serving in the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Knight.

Survivors include wife of 30 years Theresa Knight of the home, sons Phillip (Miranda) Husky, Rocky Face, GA, Jake (Gracie) Knight, Ellijay, GA, Jason (Stephanie) Kinney, Longview, WA, daughters Jessica (Rick) Clevenger, Dallas, GA, Jennifer (Derek) Jones, Cherry Log, GA; daughter, Melissa McDaniel; grandchildren Tyler (Alana) Husky, Jameson Knight, Carter Knight, Madison Clevenger, Caleb Clevenger, Mackenzie Clevenger, Adelyn Jones, Avery Jones, sisters Carol Knight Sales, Judy Knight Dover, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 4 pm to 8 pm and again from 9 am until the service hour of 6 pm on Tuesday, April 2nd at the funeral home. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 6 pm at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wallace Parks and Rev. Paul Richards officiating. Interment will be Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 11 am at the Sunlight Baptist Church Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be performed by the North GA Honor Guard.
