Mrs. Virginia Stover Gibson age 78, of Roberts Road, Ellijay, GA, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010 from the North GA. Medical Center. Born September 11th, 1931 to her late parents John William and Arizona Kimmons Stover in Gilmer County, Ellijay, GA., member of New Hope Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Philip Gibson. Mrs. Gibson is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Ann and Dr. Ian White of Dunwoody, GA., Debra Adams of Suwannee, GA., Elaine and Timothy Gilrane of Jonesboro, GA., Phyllis and Jack Ludwick of Woodstock, GA., Rebecca Gibson Segars of Salt Lake City, UT., Rachel and Mike Dodd of Wasilla, AK, grandchildren and siblings J.R. Reissiger of Dunwoody, GA., Andrew and Annie Reissiger of Oakland, CA., Nicholas & Emily Adams of Suwannee, GA., Cameron and Aaron Ludwick of Woodstock, GA., Evan and Carson Dodd of Wasilla, AK., Victoria and Veronica Gilrane of Jonesboro, GA., great grandchild Brailin Ludwick, sister and brother-in-law Mable S. and James Witherow of Marietta, GA., brother and sister-in-law Lamar and Cristine Stover of Cartersville, GA. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon, Thursday, February 4th, 2010 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Norman Gibbs, Rev. Steve Jones and Jack Ludwick officiating, music and singing provided by Janice Burgess and Rev. Irene Wofford, graveside interment to follow at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 3rd at Logan Funeral Home and Chapel.
