Mrs. Valerie Clara Weiss, age 87, of Ellijay, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, January 1st, 2025. Born on March 18th, 1937, in East Moline, Illinois, Valerie was the beloved daughter of Floyd Sylvester Baff and Mary Ann Van Hulle Baff. Furthermore, she was a very devoted Christian, for she served as a dual member of the First United Methodist Church of Ellijay and the First United Methodist Church in Hampton, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Weslie Weiss and daughter, Lisa Jeane Weiss.

Valerie is survived by her daughter, Stacey Graham (Mike); son, Charles Weiss (Mindy); grandchildren, Tami Gerrand (Guy), Jeremy McCabe (Teanna), Hilary Graham, James Wilde, Charles T. Weiss (Sherrod), and Joseph Weiss; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Becky Floyd (Jerry) and Susan Butterfield.

Services will be planned at a later date in her hometown of Hampton, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all donations be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
