Thomas Henry Petrosky Jr., 82, of Ellijay, GA, passed into eternal life on Friday, October 18, 2024. He was born in Trenton, NJ, on November 13, 1941, and was the eldest sibling of his brothers and sister. Upon graduating High School, Thomas enlisted in the Army Reserves in 1960, serving honorably until 1968. He worked for Western Electric (later AT&T) as a telephone manufacturing plant manager and retired from. He was also a strong Catholic his entire life and proud to serve as a brother in the Knights of Columbus Good Samaritan.
In 1961, Thomas married Gloria Gudzinski, with whom he shared a loving marriage until her passing in 2006. Together, they had 3 children, a daughter in blessed memory, Angela "Angie", and sons, William and Daniel. Thomas later remarried Jeannette Sortor in 2008, finding love and companionship once again. He was also a proud grandfather to his beloved grandson, Dylan, with whom he cherished deeply.
An avid outdoorsman, Thomas enjoyed fishing, hunting, and reloading ammunition. He was a skilled marksman and sharpshooter, with a passion for anything gun-related, always eager to share his knowledge and love of the sport with others.
Thomas will be remembered for his strong spirit, his love for the outdoors, and his unwavering dedication to his family.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
