Thomas Willard Nichols(Tommy), age 81 of Blue Ridge, Ga. passed away Friday, August 4, 2023.

Tommy was born in East Ellijay, Ga. on December 19, 1941. He attended Northcutt Baptist Church. Tommy was a 1959 Gilmer County High School graduate and retired from the United States Air Force after 21 and a half years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents James Willard Nichols and Sarah Janie Key Nichols; sister Sue Nichols; brother Harold Nichols, sister-in-law Annette Stanley Nichols; spouse Patricia Dexter.

Survivors include nephews James Michael and Lelea Nichols Warner Robins, GA; Gregory Scott Nichols and Stacy Nichols Waxahachie, TX; Great nephews Chris and Kaylee Nichols, Cody, and Tami Nichols, and three great-great nieces and one great-great nephew, stepdaughter Stacy and Bruce Borders.

The family will have a memorial service at Logan Funeral Home Pavilion on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 11 am. with Dr. John Brantley and North Georgia Honor Guard officiating. interment will follow at the Northcutt Baptist Church Cemetery.
