Thomas "Tom" Jerold Hall, age 89 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Tom was born on September 30, 1934, in Ellijay, GA to his late parents John Hall Sr. and Mamie Belle Ingle. Tom was a member of the Ellijay Church of Christ. Tom served in the US Army and owned his own business as a small engine mechanic at Hall Mower & Saw Small Engine. Tom had a talent for creating custom knives with expert precision. He repurposed vintage silverware into unique jewelry designs & other items. His attention to detail was his forte. Tom is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Betty Brownlee Hall, Sisters Inez Hall Drennon, and Mary Hall Mayfield, brothers Frank Hall, Rev. Fred Hall, Bill Hall, John Hall Jr., and George Hall all of Ellijay, GA.

Survivors include Daughters Cynthia T. Hall Chastain and Becki and Billy Crump, grandson Thomas Eli Chastain and granddaughter Olivia and Matthew Johnson, and great-grandchild Boone Thomas Johnson.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 4 pm to 8 pm. The Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 2 pm at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Butch Jones, Eli Chastain, and the North Georgia Honor Guard officiating. Doug Hall, Donald Hall, Alan Hall, Jay Hall, Tim Hall, John Hall III, Danny Hall, and Johnny Mayfield will be pallbearers.
