Thelma Louise (Carroll) Griggs, age 97 of Rome, GA passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. Thelma was born on September 4, 1927, in Dalton, GA, to her late parents William Gilbert Carroll and Annie May (Lackey) Carroll. She was preceded in death by her husband William McKinley Griggs.

Survivors include Grandson Jason Griggs and Kara, great-grandchildren Murphy Griggs, daughter-in-law Retha Griggs, special niece Phyllis Low, and several other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 11 am to 1 pm. The funeral service will be Friday, September 13, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Speaker Tony Thrasher officiating.

Jason Griggs, Dwight Griggs, Jody Griggs, Roy Carroll, Danny Willis, and Tony Thrasher are Pallbearers. Interment will follow at the Ballew Cemetery.
