Mr. Temple Hill age 72 of Gates Chapel Road, Ellijay, GA., passed from this life Monday, February 15th, 2010, at his residence. Born May 2nd, 1937 to his late parents Celia Pearl Sumner and Leonard Franklin Hill, member of Gates Chapel United Methodist Church, graduate of Gilmer High School, class of 1955, retired employee of Lockheed-Martin. Mr. Hill is preceded in death by brother Charles Mayford Hill. Survivors include daughters and son-in-law Cindy and Jeff Vogelsong of Woodstock, GA., Stacy Lynn Hill of Roswell, GA., grandchild Cody Edwards of Woodstock, GA., sisters and brother-in-law Delores Hill Lock, of Ellijay, GA., Dorothy Hill Clark of Ellijay, GA., Virginia and Rick Cirillo of Cincinnati, OH., and brother and sister-in-law Jim and Cathy Hill of Ellijay, GA. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 18th, 2010 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark McLendon and Rev. Larry Naylor officiating, music and song by the Boatwright Quartet and Rev. Irene Wofford. Graveside service will follow in the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with interment at the Gates Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mitchell Clark, Brad Hill, David Lock, Will Beattie, Lloyd Sumner, Wayne Sales, P.W. Boatwright, Harold Tankersley, David Simmons, Bill Tilley, Brian McCrory, and Mark McArthur.
