Mr. Ted Raymond Williams, 74, of Spartanburg, SC, formerly of Oxford, GA, died peacefully on Saturday March 2, 2024. Ted was born on January 1, 1950 in Welcome, NC to the late Johnny Raymond and Era (Disher) Williams. He was a member of the Church of Christ and a Vietnam veteran who served his country honorably in the United States Army, followed by a lifelong career in the cable industry. Ted is survived by his wife, Pat Williams; children, Jacob Raymond Williams (Erin) and Casey Lea Thompson (Kevin); children by marriage, Michele Pegorari (Paolo) and Windy Ball (Todd); 8 grandchildren (Aidan, Ethan, Wade, Cooper, Henry, Margaret, Samuel, and River); brother, Danny Williams (Ann); sister, Janet Bailey; several nieces and nephews also survive along with extended family and many friends. Friendly and always the life of the party, Ted was well loved. He embodied a tenacious, steadfast strength and was a loving husband, beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend. Many "Ted-isms" will live in perpetuity. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday March 4, 2024 at the Chapman Family Cemetery with military rites performed by the North Georgia Honor Guard. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the North Georgia Honor Guard or to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Ted.
