Stacey D. Quarles, age 58 of Ellijay, Ga passed away at Piedmont Medical Center in Jasper, Ga on Sunday June 8, 2025. He was born February 13, 1967, in Ellijay, Ga in the Tails Creek Community to the late Peggy and Eldridge Quarles. Stacey was preceded in death by his great nephew Kaysen Wright, Uncles Truman and Herman Corbin, grandparents Noah and Gussie Corbin.

Stacey is survived by his daughter Tia Quarles (Justin) Son Vince Waters, granddaughters Grace and Westlynn Quarles, brother Ritchie Quarles, nieces and nephews Ali Quarles (Greg), Haley Quarles, Rylan, Jace and Lynlee Wright, several aunts, uncles and cousins survive as well as special friends Carol and Timmy Rymer, Andy Middleton and Kevin Mchan.

Stacey was a retired truck driver of over 25 years. He loved his children and grandchildren endlessly and enjoyed hunting, fishing and being surrounded by his family and close friends.

A memorial service to honor the life of Stacey D. Quarles will be held on Saturday, June 14th, 2025, at 12 P.M., from the Tails Creek Baptist Church, with Rev. Brondy Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Tails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
