Ms. Shirley Jane Hornbeck Anderson, age 95 of Talking Rock, Georgia passed on Friday, February 26, 2016, at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia. Ms. Anderson was born September 8, 1920 in Okay, Oklahoma to her late parents Dewey Stein Hornbeck and Ruth Evelyn Johnston Hornbeck. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Robert Mobley of Cherry Log, GA; Grandson and in-law, Robert Bryan and Marjorie Mobley of Dallas, TX; Great grandchildren, Grant, Juliette, and Meredith Mobley; Sister, Phyllis Colcord of FL; Several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00pm on Sunday March 13th, 2016 at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Judy Estey and Bryan Mobley officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00am on Thursday July 21st, 2016 at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA with Rev. Christopher Sheffield officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30346 in memory of Ms. Anderson.
