Shaun William Beale, age 52 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023. Shaun was born on August 23, 1970, in Fort Meade, MD, and grew up in Wilmington, DE.

Shaun is survived by his wife of 20 years, Jennifer Beale, daughter Kyla Marie Beale of Ellijay, GA; mother Rebecca Beale of Wilmington, DE; father Frank Beale, Jr. of Peyton, CO; sister and brother-in-law Carolyn and Tom Emerson of Wilmington, DE; and nieces Madison Beale, Riley Beale, and Karla Andrews of Wilmington, DE. Shaun is preceded in death by his brother Kevin M. Beale, who we lost in April of this year.

Shaun was a successful electrician until a back injury forced him to end his career early. He continued to find happiness in playing the bass and spending time with his family. He was a particularly devoted father who loved spending time with his daughter - building dinosaur cities linked by elaborate train tracks that filled the entire living room for days when she was small, to sharing all his favorite music and movies with her as she grew. They shared the same terrible sense of humor and often laughed themselves to tears at the dinner table.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 12:30 pm at The Alamo Room of The Wilmington Brew Work in Delaware.
