Mrs. Rose Mary Shores, age 65 of East Ellijay, GA passed on Wednesday afternoon, June 14th, 2017 at home. Mrs. Shores was born August 7th, 1951 in Atlanta, GA to her late parents John Smith Shores and Ethel Marie Patton Shores. Rose was a home maker and an avid gardener and shopper. Most of all, she loved her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Ernest Shores, Bill Shores, Betty Gamble, Johnny Shores, Jimmy Shores, and Pat Lear. A private family memorial service is being planned and will be held at a later date. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Rhonda Wallace of Gulf Shores, AL and Robin and CW3 Travis Martin, US Army of El Paso, TX, Eight Grandchildren, One Great Grand Daughter, Sisters, Martha and the late Eugene Roberts of Covington, GA and Barbara Sanders of Hampton, GA, Several Nieces, Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews and Her Special Friends "The Golden Girls" also survive. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Special Needs Trust for Lucy and Simon Martin.
