Rosalind Elaine Thornburg, age 75 of Ellijay, passed away on Monday, April 14th, 2025. She was born on October 5th, 1949, to her late parents Edwin A. and Isabel Elaine McClellan McWhorter. She worked as an insurance sales agent for the State of Florida.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Thornburg, Son and Daughter-in-Law, Mike and Ruthie Ivester, stepsons and in-laws, Jefferey and Nancy Thornburg, Johnathan and Kim Thornburg, and Aaron and Angela Thornburg. Six grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers, and several extended family members also survive.
