Robert Richard Obalek, age 77 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023. Robert was born February 16, 1945, in Elmira, NY to his late parents Frank and Virginia Marie (Fadale) Obalek. Robert was a member of the St. Casimir Catholic Church in Elmira. Robert served his country honorably in the US Air Force. Robert was also a retired TSA agent with the International Airport in Houston, TX.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years Geraldine "Geri" F. Obalek, Ellijay, GA, daughter Karen Renee (Tim) Obalek-Brown, Finleyville, PA, sons Kevin Robert Obalek, Mongomery, TX, Christopher Tod Obalek, Conroe, TX, grandchildren Chayton, Tala, Ethan, and Caleb Obalek.
