Robert Lee Hyatt, age 89 of Ellijay, GA passed away February 13, 2024. Robert was born September 27, 1934 to his late parents Taft and Annie Mae (Smith) Hyatt in Blue Ridge, GA. Robert was a member of the River Hill Baptist Church. He worked as a mechanic for World Carpet and was a member of Tunnel Hill Masonic Lodge #202, F&AM. Robert is preceded in death by his brother Clyde Hyatt.

Survivors include his wife Lorene Cantrell Hyatt of the home, children and in-laws, Kathy Lee Elliott of Ellijay, GA, Tena Waddell & David Cantrell of Ellijay, GA, Allan & Shelia Hyatt of Ellijay, GA, Levone & Billy Mealer of Ellijay, GA, grandchildren and in-laws, Leigh Ann & Josh Hayward, Joseph Elliott, Hollie & John Davis, Matthew Weaver, Aaron Weaver, Rev. Daniel & Crystal Hyatt, Derek & Bess Hyatt, Joshua Weaver and Kassie & Adam Fowler, great grandchildren, Lilly Hayward, Laney Hayward, Lexxi Weaver, Lacci Weaver, Rylan Davis, Piper Davis, Reece Hyatt, Millie Hyatt, Felicity Hyatt, Ellie Hyatt, Remi Hyatt, Oakley Hyatt, Estella Hyatt, Monroe Hyatt, Hailey Weaver, Tallen Weaver, and Kaden Fowler.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. The funeral service will be Friday, February 16, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Daniel Hyatt, Bro. Tony Hyatt and Rev. Billy Cantrell officiating. Music will be by Millie and Reece Hyatt, Ronald and Linda Hyde and Bro. Tony Hyatt. Graveside interment will follow in the River Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Matthew Weaver, Aaron Weaver, Joseph Elliott, Ruel Southern, John Davis and Adam Fowler serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be David Cantrell, Tony Hyatt, Billy Mealer, and Lamar McClure.
