Mr. Rex E. Carroll, age 64 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Wednesday May 17th, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Carroll was born on May 5th, 1959 in Ellijay, GA to the late Robert and Vivian (Davenport) Carroll. Rex worked in maintenance at Engineering Floors in Dalton. He also enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. He is preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Carroll, Norman Carroll, D'Wayne Carroll.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Sherry B. Carroll; sons, Andrew Carroll and Jason Carroll (Katherine); grandchildren, Logan, Blake, Kyra, Draya, Brisbane, and Imogene Carroll; brothers and sisters, Joe Carroll, T.O. Carroll (Annette), Judy Webb Colwell, Lynette Carroll, and Ernie Carroll.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday May 20th from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Davenport officiating. Interment will follow in the Ballew Cemetery with Wade Carroll, Johnathan Carroll, Andrew Carroll, Jason Carroll, Danny Willis, and Joe Sellers all serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until the service hour of 2:00pm on Saturday May 20th at the Logan Funeral Home.
