Phillip Albert Early, Jr age 51, born in Waycross, Ga was preceded in death by his parents, Phil and Katherine Early. Phil was a devoted and loving father who passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. He was courageous and strong until the end with his many health conditions. He was a Christian and was baptized at Smyrna First Baptist in Smyrna, Ga. Phil is survived by his daughter Carson Early and son Trey Early of Dallas, GA. His sisters Amy Morse of Kennesaw, Ga and Kelly Robertson of Fulshear, Tx; brother-in-law Joey Robertson and nephew Chris Robertson, niece Savannah Tucker of Canton, Ga; Aunt Linda Early of Marietta, Ga. Cousin Jon Early Smyrna, Ga and Aunt Joyce Early of Smyrna, Ga. Cousin Jason Early of Alabama, cousin Scottie Early of Darrien, Ga. Aunt Pat Britton of Athens, Ga. Col. Tom Britton and aunt Nancy Britton of Smyrna, Ga and many close relatives and dear friends. Phil was a graduate of Campbell High School and Jacksonville State University. He loved the game of football. His favorite past time was fishing with family and friends. The family wants to give a special thanks to his best friends Brent Davis of Smyrna, Ga and Doug Jones of Bogart, Ga for their unwavering friendship. Also, to his neighbors Kevin and Kay Jordan and family for their friendship and compassion. Phil was dearly loves by family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known him and had him touch their lives. Funeral service will be held at Logan Funeral Home in Ellijay, Ga on February 15 at 11:00 am and internment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
