Peggy Ann (Corbin) Quarles, age 77 of Ellijay, passed on Saturday, March 13, 2021. She was born on May 23, 1943 to her late parents, Noah Paul, and Gussie Ernie Sanford Corbin in Ellijay. Peggy was a member of Tails Creek Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Gilmer High School, Class of 1961. She was employed by Robert Shaw Carpets, Davenport Hosery Mills and Gold Kist Poultry. Peggy is survived by her husband of 57 years, Eldridge Bruce Quarles of the home , Ellijay, GA, sons; Stacy Quarles, Chatsworth, GA, Ritchie Quarles and Debra Patterson, Ellijay, GA, grandchildren, Tia, Allison and Haley Quarles, great grandchildren, Grace Quarles, Jayce Wright, Rylan Wright, sisters; Oma Jean Cauldwell, Ellijay, GA, Gertha Lee Banks, Chatsworth, GA, Gwenda Sue Davis, Chatsworth, GA, Nena Faye McClure, Ellijay, GA, Gail Sanford, Chatsworth, GA, brothers; Herman Corbin, Ellijay, GA, Arthur Corbin, Chatsworth, GA, Ronnie Corbin, Robinsville, NC, several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Sammy Adams, Rev. Brondy Davis, Rev. Franklin Harper officiating. Music provided by Wanda Davis and Harold Sanford. Randy Cauldwell, Steve Corbin, Chris Corbin, Kenny Corbin, Larry Farist, Leon McClure, Josh Sanford, Darrel Harper, Kevin Harper and Stanley McArthur serving as pallbearers. Interment will follow at the Tails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Ellijay, GA. Visitation will be from noon to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Logan Funeral Home & Chapel.
