Paul Cox Birkhead, age 76 of Ellijay, GA passed on Monday, November 8, 2021. He was born February 27, 1945 to his late parents Kenneth and Virginia (McKenney) Birkhead in Hartford, Kentucky. Paul was a member of the American Legion and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He loved NASCAR and was an avid UGA Football fan. He graduated from Kentucky Wesleyan College receiving a Bachlors Degree. He worked in the banking industry for over 40 years. He is preceded in death by his brother Ben M. Birkhead. Survivors include spouse Wasana (Koko) Birkhead, Ellijay, GA, daughters; Karen and Greg Berry, Diane and Scott Barch, grandchildren; Ryan, Lauren, and Katherine Barch, Megan and Jason Berry.
