Mrs. Pat Medlin Sanford, age 94, of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024. Pat was born on September 6, 1929, to her late parents Jim E. Medlin and Ina A. Richards Medlin. Pat was a member of the Crossroad Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her late husband Burt Sanford, Jr., sisters Ruby Quarles, Ora Dale Dean, and Alene Davis, brothers Harley Medlin, Leonard Medlin, James Medlin, Avery Medlin, Mckinley Medlin, Tom Medlin & Bill Medlin.

Survivors include Daughter and son-in-law Anita and Rev. Billy Dotson of Ellijay, GA, 3 grandchildren, Brent and Canzady Doston of Chatsworth, GA, Haley and Bruce Reece of Ellijay, GA & Burt and Denisha Dotson of Jasper, GA & 8 great-grandchildren, Laney Dotson, Ella Dotson, Hadley Doston, Lark Reece, Blake Reece, Bella Bruce, Mali Bruce, and Cora Dotson. Special sister-in-law Virginia Farist Sanford. Several nieces and nephews also survived.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 5, 2024, @ 12:00 pm and the funeral will be held following at 2:00 pm @ the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Kerr officiating. The interment will be at the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Billy Dotson, Brent Dotson, Burt Dotson, Blake Reece, Rylan Cochran, and Dewell Sanford.
