Otis William Harper, age 77, Ellijay, GA passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Otis was born on July 11, 1947, in Ellijay, GA to his late parents Cecil Pink and Vera Jean (Newberry) Harper. Otis served honorably in the United States Army in Vietnam and received a Purple Heart. Otis was a member of the Flat Branch Baptist Church. Otis is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Leroy Harper.

Otis is survived by his wife of 56 years Lois Harper, Ellijay, GA, son Mark and Sheila Harper, Ellijay, GA, brothers Eldridge Harper, Ellijay, GA, Phillip Harper, Jasper, GA, sister Faye Harper, FL, several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Daniel Reece and Rev. Josh Green. Interment will follow in the Flat Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
