Oma Jean Caldwell, age 90, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Regency Park.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Gussie Corbin; siblings, Truman Corbin, Ann Pinson, Peggy Quarles, Gertha Banks, Arthur Corbin, Herman Corbin, and Joe Corbin.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Caldwell; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Tammy Caldwell; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gwen and Randall Davis, Nena and Leon McClure, and Gail and Terry Sanford; brother, Ronnie Corbin; granddaughter and spouse, Heather and James Jordan; great grandchildren, Axel and Miranda Jordan; nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held, Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Corbin and Rev. Steve Corbin officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 11:00 am until the service time at 1:00 pm.

Burial will follow at the United Memorial Gardens.
