Nioka Carolyn Jones of Ellijay, GA formerly of Vonore, TN passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Nioka was born in Maryville, TN to her late parents Edward Joshua and Hazel Sue (Frye) Jones. Nioka was a 1961 graduate of Madisonville, TN High School. Nioka attended Hopewell Baptist Church. Nioka is preceded in death by sisters Jennifer Jones Wiggins, Brenda Jones, and brothers Larry Thomas Jones, and John Patrick Jones.

Survivors include her companion Scott Logan, family David Edward Wiggins (Nicole), Jessica Ryann Hingtgen, Skylar Wiggins Tharis (Sean), Andrew L. Deluca, and also several cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home in Madisonville, TN., and Friday, September 22, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 4 p.m. with Rev. Michael Smith and Min. Butch Jones officiating.  Dr. Dwayne Fowler, Dale Cochran, George Bunch, Gus Logan, Mack Logan, Chris Logan, Jerry Hensley, Bennie Holt, Michael Holt, and Doug Roe serving as pallbearers.
