Mrs. Nettie Mae Cantrell Chadwick, age 91 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Friday, March 4, 2016, at the Pruitt Healthcare of Jasper. She was a member of River Hill Baptist Church, born August 15, 1924 in Ellijay, GA, to her late parents Floyd Sanford Cantrell and Rosie Lee Reece Cantrell. She was a retired textile Inspector for Hampton and Davenport Hosiery Mills. Preceded in death by her husband Poley Chadwick Survivors include son & daughter-in-law Gerald and Wanda Chadwick of Ellijay, GA: grand daughters & in-law Cindy & Mike Higingbotham of Ellijay, GA, Sherry Chadwick Ellington of Ellijay, GA; Grandson and in-law David Lee and Jill Chadwick of Ellijay, GA; great grandchildren and in-law Beth and Chase Mooney, Haley Higingbotham, Savannah Ellington, Meredith Ellington, McKinley Chadwick, McCoy Chadwick, Marlee Chadwick; great great grandchildren Logan Mooney and sister-in-law Geneva Cantrell of Ellijay, GA. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 7th at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Cantrell and Rev. Russell Hood officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverhill Baptist Church Cemetery with Mark Autry, Robert Garrett, Roy Stover, Jody Crump, Lewis Cantrell, Phillip Davenport and Euel Southern serving as pallbearers. Family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at the Funeral Home, Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made to the Riverhill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in care of Euel Southern at 2212 Macedonia Road, Ellijay, GA. 30536, in memory of Mrs. Chadwick.
