Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, Neal Christian Madsen passed away at home in Ellijay, Georgia surrounded by his loved ones on Friday January 27, 2023.

He was born on December 26, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan to his late parents Christian and Lily (Jensen) Madsen.

Neal proudly and honorably served his country as a Staff Sargent in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

His greatest love was his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife Sharon (Renny) Madsen, daughter Linda (Madsen) Garrigus, and son-in-law Robert "Earl" Garrigus, sons Michael Madsen and Douglas Madsen and daughter-in-law Kelly (Vermeeran) Madsen, grandchildren Melissa (Garrigus) Pearce and husband Ryan Pearce, Shaun Madsen and wife Debbie (Bourquin) Madsen, Mackenzie Garrigus, Brendon Madsen, Morgan Garrigus, Neal Madsen and Nick Madsen, great-grandchildren Gibbson Pearce, Finnley Pearce and Hailey Madsen.

Per his wishes there will be no service at this time.
