Mrs. Nancy Jane Rupp, age 91, of Ellijay, passed away on Friday, June 12th, 2026.

Mrs. Rupp was born on June 15th, 1934 in New Castle, Pennsylvania, to her late parents, Charles Warne Lamley and Kathyrn Harrison Lamley. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania, and dedicated her career to teaching English. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, William Rupp.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law Jeff and Deborah Rupp of Ellijay and Alan and Carol Rupp of Wilmington, North Carolina; grandchildren Corey Rupp, Scott Rupp, Christopher Rupp, Brandon Miller, McKenzie Miller, and Holly Carter; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service honoring Nancy’s life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, July 10th, 2026 from the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion.

Mrs. Rupp will be laid to rest in the Georgia National Cemetery with her husband, William.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Nancy.
