Nancy Louise Hamil, age 78 of Ellijay, GA passed on Sunday, September 12, 2020. Nancy was born February 15, 1942 to her late parents Maynard O'Neal & Louise (Murphy) Hamil in Lagrange, GA. She was a member of the Cartecay United Methodist Church. Nancy was a Troup County class of 1960 graduate. Nancy was also a graduate of Piedmont School of Nursing in 1963 where she found her passion and became a registered nurse. She is survived by her sisters Linda Faye Hamil Rosser, Lagrange, GA and Theresa Hull & Richard Hull, Marietta, GA, nieces Janet & Todd Nash, Kennesaw, GA, Diane & John Harrell, Lagrange, GA, great niece Chloe Harrell, Lagrange, GA, nephew Richard Hull, Chehalis, WA, great nephews James Shea & McCartney Hull, Chehalis, WA. A memorial service will be held Saturday October 10, 2020, 1:00pm at Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ike Parker officiating.
