Minnie Elizabeth (Jones) Stillwell, age 94 of Ellijay, GA passed on Monday, May 10, 2021. She was born September 10, 1926 to her late parents Clinton and Artie Mabell (Ash) Jones in Ellijay, GA. Minnie was a member of Gospel Temple Baptist Church. She was a home maker and enjoyed farming and gardening. She is preceded in death by her husband Joel L. Stillwell, sister Ruthelle Jones, brothers Jack Jones, Will Jones, Gene Jones. A funeral service will be Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Franklin Harper, Rev. William Cruse, and Rev. Clyde Jones officiating. Mono Kahn, Thomas Speir, Clinton Jones, George Jones, Donald Dale, Tommy Jones, Wayne Jones, Squeak Jones, and Donnie Dunn serving as pallbearers. Minnie is survived by her daughters and son in laws Barbara and Rev. Willie Young, Ellijay, GA, Betty and Rev. Monroe Cruse, Ellijay, GA, Jeanette Stillwell, Ellijay, GA, sons and daughter in laws Billy Stillwell, Ellijay, GA, Joel Donald and Monica Stillwell, Ellijay, GA, grand children Candra and Thomas Speir, Suzanne and Mono Kahn, William and Amanda Cruse, Hunter Stillwell, Elizabeth Stillwell,Mikey Payne, great grandchildren Durham Speir, Kaiden, Karene Noel, and Noble Kahn, Madison, Peyton, and Paisley Cruse, MaKayla Payne, sisters Mary Alice Jones, Ellijay, GA, Rebecca Jones Ellijay, GA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 11 am to 8 pm at Logan Funeral Home. Flowers are being accepted.
