Michael Ellis Bean, age 70 of Ellijay, GA passed on Friday, February 5, 2021. He was born July 7, 1950 to his late parents Clarence Ellis and Sara Lee (Tyler) Bean in Chicago, IL. Michael was of the Church of Christ faith. He had retired from his career as a senior contract manager at Cleveland Electric in Atlanta in 2014. During that time he volunteered as a DJ at WRFG, hosting the Friday edition of "Good Morning Blues." In addition he was a highly-respected blues guitarist, having played in many venues around Atlanta and Ellijay. Michael is survived by his wife Allison Ann (Turner) Bean of Ellijay, GA, stepsons Brian C. Turner, of Marietta, GA, Aaron T. Roth, of Atlanta, GA, niece Debbie Taylor, nephew Steven Rickman, and sister Patsy Bean Rickman, brother-in-law Charles Rickman, of Columbia, KY. He was predeceased by his daughter Samantha Bean.
