Matilda Jane (Long) Ledford, age 87, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed on Friday, October 1, 2021. She was born June 8, 1934, in Dial, GA, to her late parents, Coleman and Senia (Farmer) Long. Jane was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Jane was preceded in death by her daughter, Yvonne McNelley, sisters, Carrie Conley, Myrtle Long, Grace Painter, Betty Cochran, Willie Farmer, brothers, John, Frank and Bunyon Long She is survived by Thurston Eugene "Gene" Gene Ledford, her husband of 70 years, of the home in Blue Ridge, GA, daughters, Monica Denise Ledford, Cherry Log, GA, son-in-law Richard McNelley, Blue Ridge, GA, Joan Ledford Hembree , Suwanee, GA, grandchildren, Brandon Hembree, Ryan Hembree, Vanessa McNelley, Wesley McNelley, Chandler Ledford, sisters, Ruby Boone, McDonough, GA, Ruth Hawkins, Murphy, NC, great grandchildren, Hannah , Juliet, Sadie, Eliza & Grady Hembree, Eva McNelley, Rylie Springer, nephews and nieces also survive. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Monica D. Ledford and speaker Vanessa McNelley officiating. Interment will follow at the Boardtown Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at Logan Funeral Home & Chapel.
