Mary Nell (Woodring) Logan, age 92 of Ellijay, GA passed on Thursday, December 3, 2020. Mary Nell was born on May 2, 1928 to her late parents Lee Terrel and Pearl Mae (Key) Woodring in Ellijay, GA. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. Mary Nell graduated from Ellijay High School in 1946. She is preceded in death by her husband Kimsey R. Logan, brother Alvin Woodring, sister Kathleen Woodring Martin. Mary Nell was a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include daughter and son in law Ginger and Rev. Norman Gibbs of Ellijay, GA, son and daughter in law Keith and Lisa Logan of Ellijay, GA, grand children Heather and Carl Day, Brandon and Rachel Gibbs, Mark and Jamie Gibbs, Lee and Jesse Logan, great grand children Logan Lifsey, Gabe Lifsey, Gia Lifsey, Ezra Rose Day, James Day, Caroline Day, Kathryn Day, Blair Gibbs, Brody Gibbs, Cali Gibbs, Boston Palmer, Everly Gibbs, sister Dorothy Woodring Painter of Dalton, GA Visitation will be Saturday, December 5, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 2:00 pm at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Norman Gibbs, Rev. Brian Clayton, and brother Alan Davenport officiating. Pallbearers will be Greg Martin, Roger Woodring, Barry Woodring, Brandon Gibbs, Mark Gibbs, Jimmy Logan, Danny Logan, Lee Logan.
