MRS. MARY CHARLOTTE KNIGHT Mrs. Mary Charlotte Knight age 48 of the Cartecay Community, Ellijay, GA., passed from this life on Tuesday, October 12th, 2010 at Kennesaw Hospital. She was a member of Palm City Baptist Church in Palm City, FL and attended Cartecay Baptist Church. She was born on April 26th, 1962 to her parents William Wayne and Mary Phyllis Comer Garrison in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Mrs. Knight was employed as a secretary at Ricks Auto. She is preceded in death by her father William Wayne Garrison and several Aunts and Uncles. She is survived by her husband of 16 years John S. Knight of Ellijay, GA.; son Stephen M. Knight of Gainesville, FL.; father and mother John and Mary Slim of Ellijay, GA.; brothers and sisters-in-law William W. and Sue Garrison of Port St. Lucie, FL., Joseph D. Garrison of Hibbing, MN., Kevin A. and Candy Slim of Sebring, FL., Jack and Lois Slim of Jensen Beach, FL., Brian K. Slim of TN., Craig F. Slim of Stewart, FL.; sisters and brothers-in-law Brenda L. and William Banks of Cumming, GA., Terri and Bob Ferrari of Jensen Beach, FL., Carolyn and Kyle Standish of Gainesville, FL.; several Aunts and Uncles; 18 nieces and nephews, and 10 great nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 23rd 2010 at the Cartecay Baptist Church with Rev. Davis Lacey officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 23rd, at the Cartecay Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mary Knight Memorial Fund, c/o United Community Bank, 558 Industrial Blvd., Ellijay, GA. 30540 in memory of Mrs. Knight.
