Mary Virginia (Barclay) Fuller, age 98 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Mary Virginia was born October 28, 1924, in Blue Ridge, GA to her late parents Thurlow Charles and Pearl (Chastain) Barclay. Mary Virginia was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ellijay for over 80 years. Mary Virginia is preceded in death by her husband Earl Bandy Fuller, Sr, sister Lillian Barclay Westmoreland, Harriett Barclay Wadsworth, brother Thurlow C. "Buddy" Barclay, Jr.

Survivors include daughters Mary Louise Fuller, Ellijay, GA, Gina and Terry Hensley, Ellijay, GA, sons Earl Bandy "Sandy" and Rebecca Fuller, Ellijay, GA, Al and Cindy Fuller, Ellijay, GA, grandchildren Laura and Nick Long, Caroline and Ryan Garrett, Bandy and Allison Fuller, Jonathan and Alicia Crump, Hannah and Josh Jones, Melissa and Dustin Long, great-grandchildren Justin Long, Chandler, and Dawson Garrett, Brooklyn, Addie, and Riley Crump, Cole, Luke, and Kendall Jones, Joshua, Gracie, Will, and Mary Evelyn Long, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, Saturday, January 21, 2023, at First Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, January 21, 2023, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Josh Moyers, Rev. James Holt, Rev. Mark Westmoreland, and Brother Josh Jones officiating. Ronnie Gheesling, George Winn, Larry Tankersley, Edgar Parks, Edward Lacey, Don Reil, Marvin Chance, and Sam Penland will serve as pallbearers. Private interment will follow at the City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the First Baptist Church Building fund at 164 Dalton Street, Ellijay, GA 30540 in memory of Mary Virginia Fuller.
