Mrs. Mary Nell Corbin, age 85, of Ellijay, GA passed peacefully on Thursday, February 13 at her residence.

Mary was born February 25, 1939 in Ellijay, GA to the late Claude and Ruth Newton. She was a member of Flat Branch Baptist Church . Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years , Kenneth Corbin , and sister Catherine Chastain.

Mary was a wonderful, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She always put her family first and always showed unconditional love. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include son, Michael Corbin, daughter and son-in-law Diane and Gary Keener, grandsons Shane and Noah Keener, great granddaughter Elle Keener, great grandson Lex Keener, and sister and brother-in-law Dot and Burns Jeffries. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

To honor Mary's wishes, she will be cremated, and a private memorial will held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Compassus Hospice in Mary's memory.
