Mary Lois Chadwick Butler, 87, of Cartersville, GA, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Mary Lois was born on July 16, 1937, in Canton, GA, to her late parents Clarence Frank Chadwick and Naomi Balzoura Chastain. Mary Lois attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Ellijay, GA. She was preceded in death by her brother, J.C. Chadwick; sister-in-law, Katie Chadwick; nephew, Randall Chadwick; and granddaughter, Chelcie Heirs.

Survivors include her husband James "Jimmie" Butler of Cartersville, GA; daughter, Cathy Walker Satterfield of Cartersville, GA; son Ronnie Walker of Cartersville, GA; children Mark Butler (Linda) of Kingston, GA, Deborah Reynolds (Alvin) Myrtle, MO, Carla Rutledge (Stephen) of Cartersville, GA, grandchildren Brande Satterfield Poulnot, Amanda (Jason) Walker Wallace and TJ Walker, Tara (Colbie) Clark, Bodie Butler, Garret (Madi) Rutlege, Wesley (Lorie Beth) Stubbs, Blake (Tabitha) Stubbs and Devin Stubbs, great-grandchildren Mackenze Poulnot, Walker Twaddell, Haley (Cody) Falls, Zachery Campbell, Abby Campbell, Kaytlynn Walker, Kaylee Walker, Cadence Stubbs, Grady Stubbs, Paisley Stubbs, Scout Stubbs, Hazel Stubbs, and Rowan Stubbs, great great children Griffin Falls and Chezni and Langston Rutledge, nephews Eddie (Thanna) Chadwick, Stanley Chadwick and Tim Chadwick, and special caregiver Brandy Hayes and Traditions Hospice.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The funeral service will be held Friday, October 18, 2024, at 2 p.m., in the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Siniard and Rev. Joey Phillips officiating. Pallbearers: TJ Walker, Walker Twaddell, Mark Butler, Jerry Satterfield, Ethan Wallace, and Bodie Butler.
