Marvin Clay Hensley, age 78 of Ellijay, GA passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Marvin was born on September 18, 1945, in Cumming, GA to his late parents Grady Oliver Hensley and Doshia L. Goble. Marvin was of the Baptist Faith, was in the Vietnam War in the US Army, and was a retired Construction worker and owner of Roundtop Grocery Store. Marvin loved old cars, planting flowers, and food, being at home, and being a good husband.  Marvin was preceded in death by his brothers Sherman Hensley, and Farist Hensley.

Survivors include his wife Lottie M. Hensley of Ellijay, GA, sister Genieva Davis of Madisonville, TN, brother and sister-in-law Herman and Jill Hensley of Ellijay, GA, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 2 from 4-8 PM. The funeral service will be on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Arnold officiating. Pallbearers are, Travis Davis, Michael Hensley, Jesse Hensley, Cody Davis, Jeremiah Maddox, and Michael Williams. Military rights will follow

with the North Georgia Honor Guard at the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion

. The interment will be at Berean Baptist Church cemetery.
