Marion Helen (Carter) Pritchett, age 85 of Ellijay, GA passed on Monday, May 30, 2022. Marion was born on October 10, 1936, in Atlanta, GA to her late parents Lee Roy and Helen Kathryn (Rush) Carter. Marion was a retired Registered Nurse and was also a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Marion is preceded in death by her first husband Bernard Wheeler, second husband John Harold Pritchett, and her daughter Nancy Elizabeth Wheeler. Survivors include her son Mark Anthony Wheeler, Ellijay, GA, grandchildren Mark Lee Wheeler, Metter, GA, sister Kathleen Kurtz, Gainesville, FL, and also several nieces, nephews, and cousins survive. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 5, 2022, at 4:00 pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Rosser officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church cemetery.
