Mrs. Margaret Ann DeMar Flowers, age 87, of Mineral Bluff, passed away Tuesday, March 31st, 2026 at her residence.

Mrs. Flowers was born on December 14th, 1938 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Francis Edward and Anna Marie Cummings DeMar. She was of the Baptist faith and retired as a Glass Worker from Thatcher Glass Manufacturing Company. She enjoyed jigsaw and crossword puzzles and watching hummingbirds. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Gene Flowers, daughter Sheree Bainbridge and grandson Thomas Comfort.

Survivors include daughters Dale Bainbridge of Blue Ridge, Wendy Bainbridge of Tampa, Florida, Daleen Rey Bainbridge of Palestine, West Virginia; son John Scott DeMar of Mineral Bluff; granddaughters Carrie Farmer, Peggy Edwards, Deborah Baldwin, Jessica Comfort, Randee Scritchfield, and Melinda Butler; grandsons William (BJ) Simmons, Steven Simmons, Derrick Lockhart, Shannon Payne, Hunter DeMar and Chase DeMar.

No services are being planned at this time.
