Mr. Lyndon Guinn Loudermilk, age 61 of Ellijay, GA went home to be with the Lord on Saturday August 20, 2022 at his residence. Lyndon was born in Ducktown, TN to his parents, the late Max Loudermilk And Eleanor (Bearfield) Long. He was a member of the Baptist Faith. Lyndon owned and operated his own trucking company for over 30 years. He went by the nickname "Buttermilk". Lyndon is preceded in death by his father, Max, grandparents, Clint and Elsie Loudermilk and George and Irene Bearfield. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday August 23rd, 2022 from the Mount Vernon Baptist Church at 1804 New Stansbury Road Turtletown, TN with Rev. Doug Howard officiating. Mr. Loudermilk will Lie-in-state at the church from 1:00pm until the funeral hour at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Brandon Long, Cody Dubois, Jason Loudermilk, Eric Bradburn, Doug Cheek, Randall Wilcox, Carl Franklin and Clayton Wilson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be William and Bud Bearfield, Mark, Russ, Eddie and Bruce Loudermilk, Darin Pickett, David McFarland, Mark Carter, David Stiles, Terry John, Sam Radford, Israel Campbell, Bill Bearfield, Billy Bradburn and Stewart McClure. Mr. Loudermilk is survived by his mother, Eleanor Long of the home in Ellijay, GA, brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald and Trisha Loudermilk, Eric and Janet Long all of Ellijay, GA, nephew, Brandon and Tiffany Long, Nieces, Lauren and Cody Dubois and Karli Loudermilk, great-nephews, Westin and Graham Dubois, Tyson Long, great-niece, Mackenzie Long all of Ellijay, GA. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. The family is receiving friends on Monday August 22nd, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Logan Funeral Home.
