Mr. Luther Erby "John" Johnathan Bunch, age 77 of Ellijay, GA, passed on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. He was born on June 28th, 1942 in Ringgold, GA to his parents William Thomas and Pauline (Hooper) Bunch. John was a veteran honorably discharged from the US Army and was a retired truck driver. Preceded in death by his daughter Stephanie Agnew, grandson, Keith Gibson and sister Billie Jo Stapp. He was a member of the Welcome Hill Baptist Church, Ringgold, GA and attended Cherry Log Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 9th, 2020 at the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with Dr. David Drake and the North Georgia Honor Guard officiating. Interment will be held immediately after the service at the Ellijay City Cemetery. Mr. Bunch is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patsy Gene (McDade) Bunch of the home in Ellijay, GA., daughter, Rebecca Plaisted of McDonald, PA, grandchildren, Spenser Reuffer, Christopher Dustin Reuffer, Amanda Gibson, great-grand child, Jackson Bowen.
