Mrs. Lucille (Butler) Brooks, age 92, of Ellijay, GA who passed on Wednesday February 2nd, 2022. Born June 22, 1929, to her late parents Herbert Willis and Lula Meryl Hensley Butler in Bristow, VA. She was a member of the Methodist Faith. Mrs. Brooks is preceded in death by her Husband Thomas Robert Lee Brooks, brothers and sisters, Robert Merica, Esther Sivak, Irene Rogers, Geraldine Gernert and Joy Butler. Following Mrs. Brooks' wishes, she will be cremated, and no services are planned. Mrs. Brooks is survived by her daughters, Linda Brooks of Hobson, MT, Dorothy Currier of Ellijay, GA, son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Lee & Beth Brooks of Berkeley Springs, WV, grandchildren, Ben Brooks, Tim Brooks, John Brooks, Emily Brooks, Michael Fontenelle, Stephanie Minter and Eric Currier, great-grandchildren, Noah Minter, Aiden Fontenelle and Wyatt Minter, sister, Elsie Lash of Roanoke, VA. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Mrs. Brooks.
