Mrs. Loretta Holloway Jenkins, age 78 of Cherry Log, GA passed Tuesday, June 8th, 2021 at her residence. Loretta was born May 11th, 1943 in Ellijay, GA to her late parents, Robert Jackson Holloway and Bessie Aslee Allen Holloway. Mrs. Jenkins was a member of the Boardtown Church of Christ, loved her family dearly, and always worked hard. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Holt Jenkins, daughter, Coleen Jenkins, sister, Dorothy Ward, and brothers, Fred, Edward, Robert, and James Holloway. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Trish Jenkins of Ellijay, GA, Sandra and Coy Norton of Cherry Log, GA, and Connie and Devell Ferrell of Blue Ridge, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Junior and Sonia Jenkins of Cherry Log, GA; grandchildren and spouses, Katrin Headrick, Leanne Stover, Jeremy and Becky Ferrell, Kayla and Erik Giddens, Madison Jenkins and Jacob Jenkins; five great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; sister, Eunice Puckett of Cherry Log, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Clay Holloway of Bowden, GA, and Quentin and Joann Holloway of Ellijay, GA; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Thursday, June 10th, 2021 from the Boardtown Church of Christ with Min. Cody Bearden, Min. Butch Jones, and Min Tommy Kyle officiating. Congregational singing will be led by Shannon Bearden. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Ferrell, Jacob Jenkins, Blake Ledford, Bradley Head, Erik Giddens, Caelan Scarbrough, Landon Stover, James Ramsey and JR Ramsey. Graveside interment will follow in the Boardtown Church of Christ Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4pm until 9pm on Wednesday, June 9th, 2021 at the Logan Funeral Home.
