Linda Gail Ellis Wildes, age 81, passed into the arms of Jesus peacefully in her sleep, Saturday
morning, Aug 27, 2022.
Gail was born in Albany, GA, to the late Marvin Elijah Ellis and Lollie Mae Harden Ellis. She was
married to James E. Wildes for 60 years before God called him home first in 2020. She had two
daughters, Ivy Ann Wildes Adamavage and Robin Janelle Wildes Sarkesian, whom she loved
with her whole heart. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Lindy Ann (John) Trimble,
Elijah Adam Sarkesian, Victoria Hope Sarkesian, and Lori Beth (Luke) Thomas. She also will watch
over from afar her great-grandchildren Ivy, Elly, Brentley, and Cason.
Gail was a faithful member of Mountaintown Baptist Church. She loved her Ladies Sunday
School class and the friends that she held dear to her heart.
She is preceded in death by her husband James, her sister, and brother in law Betty Jo, and Curtis
Adams and her niece Kay Adams Boyd.
Graveside Services will be held at the Mountaintown Baptist Church cemetery, 510
Mountaintown Rd, Ellijay, GA, on Tuesday, August 30 th at 11 am, with Pastor Sam Snider of
Mountaintown Baptist Church officiating. Pastor Dan Rosser of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church
will present the music. Honorary Pallbearers are Scott Adamavage, Elijah Sarkesian, Tori
Sarkesian, Luke Thomas, Ivy Trimble, Elly Trimble, and Brently Walden.
Gail's family would like to thank Regency Hospice for their sweet care in the last few days of her
life.
