Mr. Lester Dwaine Allen, age 79 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Wednesday March 19th, 2025 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice in Marietta, GA.

Mr. Allen was born on March 17th, 1946 in Dickson, TN to the late Doug Allen and Rebecca Gossett. Dwaine was a member of First Baptist Church of Ellijay.

Survivors include his children; Patrick Allen (Courtney), Ronnie Gates (Teodora), Laurie Summerlin; grandchildren, Brian Gates, Kelsey Forth (Preston), Brett Bailey, Dylan Allen, and Jonathan Kernan (Ashley); 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday March 24th, 2025 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Josh Moyers and Rev. Kenny Hogue officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until the service hour of 1:00pm at the Logan Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help with final expenses at PO Box 485 Ellijay, GA 30540 in memory of Dwaine.
